James Godfrey - Senior Director, Statistics and Automation
James heads up the team, bringing over 25 years of experience in advanced analytics and market research. He has a broad skill set spanning analytical techniques, consumer insights, and sensory research. James specialises in automation, developing innovative solutions to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Outside of work, James is a proud father of two and spends his weekends taking his children to their different sporting activities.
🎮Fun fact: Although his kids complain about letting them win at Mario Kart he is really trying his hardest!
Steph Harper - Lead Data Analyst
A key player for over 4 years, Steph’s dedication to efficiency and innovation shines in her work. Specialising in Excel and software optimisation, she manages Oracle operations and tackles a wide range of projects with advanced statistical methods.
Outside the office, Steph plays football, and has recently joined a guitar ensemble. She is looking forward to performing with them this year!
Fun fact: Steph is not only talented in the office but also a black belt in karate, demonstrating her discipline and determination.
Tom Wing - Senior Data Analyst
Tom has been with Blue Yonder for 5 years, bringing experience with complex data transformations and skills in Power Query to interrogate and merge varied datasets, in addition to line management and advanced analysis, with strong attention to detail.
When the Out of Office is on, Tom enjoys playing bass guitar and singing, along with a strong love for craft beer and running.
☕ Fun fact: Tom used to work as a barista in a third wave roastery and cafés, so he can make a mean cup of coffee!
James Heron - Senior Data Analyst
James is our go-to for scripting complex questionnaires and crafting bespoke JavaScript for advanced research methodologies. His comprehensive approach ensures high-quality data and insightful analyses from project inception to completion.
His passions include cooking, programming & web design, and sketching.
Fun fact: A film enthusiast, James visited the cinema 44 times last year.
Michael Holmes - Data Analyst
With over 9 years in market research and 5 years within the data department, Michael Holmes has honed his scripting skills to an exceptional level. His expertise enables the creation of seamless and efficient survey experiences, contributing significantly to our project success.
Michael’s interests are varied, including watching movies, playing video games, chatting with his cat, listening to Japanese music, and reading.
Fun fact: He was named after an actor from Aliens and Terminator, illustrating the lasting impact of those iconic films on his family.
Tommy Tsang - Data Analyst
Joining the Oracle team as a Trainee Data Analyst, Tommy dives into big and exciting Excel sheets and scripting with eagerness to learn and grow. A resident of Leeds for most of his life, he has a passion for travelling, exploring cities and the countryside across the UK to experience its diverse beauty.
When not delving into data, Tommy is active on the badminton court, explores new destinations, and plays the Bass guitar.
Fun fact: Tommy combines his love for travel and music, often bringing his bass guitar along to play in new and inspiring locations.
Sarthak Dallakoti - Trainee Data Analyst
Sarthak joined the team in October 2024, his role supports the data team to clean, analyse, and interpret data, helping transform raw data into valuable insights for clients. With a background in Computer Science and AI, he enjoys using Python and SQL to automate processes and uncover patterns in data.
Outside of work, Sarthak has a passion for trekking and he loves exploring scenic trails. He also enjoys playing chess, solving logic puzzles, and participating in Model United Nations events, where he once represented Nepal’s Federal Parliament.
🐐 Fun fact: During a trek, he once took a “shortcut”, only to find he was stuck on a cliff and had to negotiate his way down like a mountain goat – except much less gracefully!
